Ok, this one is delicious, easy and quick!
Start boiling the water for the pasta
Begin heating some vodka sauce (jar). If you want to make your own, combine marinara sauce with a little cream and vodka
Add the penne pasta to the boiling water. 10-12 minutes
Saute prawns (or shirmp) in butter, garlic and red wine (not white)...stir until the prawns are pink (3 minutes)
Drain the prawns from the saute - keep warm in the skillet
Drain the pasta when done
Throw the vodka sauce and prawns on top of the pasta in a bowl and toss...or not! You can let people go fishing!
And you're done!

ReplyDeleteAlways buy two bottles of wine so you don't have to share yours with the shrimp. Also if some of the red wine is consumed before the meal is cooked... don't forget to peel the shrimp!

Funny Allison!!! And for the record, I did make this once without peeling the ALL the prawns, but not every prawn went to plate with their coat on! So you had to work a little for your meal! LMAO!
